The Fort of Kot Diji
The Fort of Kot Diji is located at Khairpur district of Sindh Pakistan. It was built between 1785 to 1795 during the empire of Mir Sohrab Khan Talpur; the founder of the Kindom of Upper Sindh. The length of Fort is 12 kilometers, and 12 feet wide mud is used in construction. The huge wall is the defensive strategy of the city, 3 large iron gates are used for the only means of entry into the city. The Fort was used as the residence of emperors mainly.
